JOB DUTIES:
The Prevention Research Center at Tulane University is looking for a program manager to coordinate a grant funded initiative that will ehnance the walkabililty and bikablity of areas surrounding New Orleans public schools
Will assist the City of New Orleans Department of Public Works to coordinate bike and pedestrian construction projects and strengthen and broaden the KidsWaok coalition to educate policy makers and other stakeholders about bike and pedestrian issues in the city
REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's degree in planning, public health, engineering, or social work
Three years work experience in community development, community organizing and/or project managemetn
Strong wirtten and verbal communication skills
Proficiency of basic MS Office software package and use of the internet
Ability to perform duties during non-working hours as necesary
PREFERRED:
Master's degree in planning, public health, engineering, or social work
Five years work experience in community development and/or project management
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
